Immediate Relief from Toothaches

Hi Friends,

If you’ve ever had a toothache you know that they come at the most inappropriate times and the pain is so intense that it is almost impossible for you to function.
Well for me, my toothache (caused by my wisdom tooth) came at the most inappropriate time… the weekend, when I could not go to the Dentist.
I decided to use Clove Oil, and I hit the jack pot. Here is what I did.
1. I rinsed (to remove anything that may have prevented the oil from doing its job),

2. Applied 1 drop of Clove essential oil to a Q-tip (a cotton swab can work as well) and

3. Dabbed the Q-tip in the affected area.
That’s it!! The relief was  instantaneous!
Clove oil is popular as an antiseptic and analgesic (pain reliever) and has been used for centuries in dentistry to alleviate toothaches and other associated pains due to its ability to numb the affected area.
Cloves contain a compound known as Eugenol that is still commonly used in Dentistry both for pain relief and in restorative dental materials.
What other essential oils are good for toothache relief?
Tea tree oil, Peppermint oil and Oregano oil

Suffering from toothaches? Why not get temporary relief by trying Clove or any of the other oils above.

Here are some things to consider if  you decide to go this route.

1. This temporary pain relief does not take the place of visiting your dentist. There may be a deeper problem that you need to address.
2. You are working with essential oils, which are very concentrated substances. Only use in very small quantities and AVOID swallowing.
3. If you are very sensitive, dilute your essential oils by mixing with carrier oils (such as coconut, olive oil). (1/4 teaspoon to 1-2 drops of essential oil should be fine)

Have a great day friends!
