After Care braid protective style

Hey guys!  As stated before, I like
wearing braided protective styles, but it is important to take care of your
hair before, during and after your style. 
All the growth that you may have gotten during the style, depends on
what you do when you take them down.

Take down your braids gently.  

You
may have a knot of residue build-up at the root, spray detangling product on it
and carefully take it apart with your fingers. 
Once the knots are out, separate your hair carefully in sections.  Spray each part with water and a detangling
spray and further detangle with your fingers and/or a wide tooth comb.  Then twist each part in.

What I like to do is apply oil (eg.coconut oil) to the hair and leave it for an hour then
wash with a clarifying shampoo and deep condition. After this your hair should be nice and soft and detangled.
